Return to The Intended End

The 200th, and final, day of my Daily Riolu series.

I never intended to make a daily series, honestly the thought of it seemed like way too much work. But what started as me drawing a Riolu a day for a week in order to learn how to draw my favourite Pokémon, somehow spiraled into this.

Since Day 7 was when this project of mine was meant to end, this piece is a redraw of that artwork (that, and I had already redrawn Day 1 for my Day 100 artwork). I don't actively try to improve that much when it comes to art, I just do it to have some fun, but this series has definitely improved my capabilities by a significant amount. At some point I'll add the Day 7 vs Day 200 comparison photo on this site to really highlight that.

I can't see myself ever doing a series like this again, as it is a lot of work, especially for the days where I just don't have all that much energy. Though then again, this series was an unintended consequence of something much smaller, so who knows?
